In your individual therapy sessions with me, Karen McKenna-Quayle, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), you’ll be gently guided on a journey of healing, self-awareness, and growth. Using an integrative approach that blends Strengths-Based, Solution-Focused, Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MB-CBT), and Polyvagal-informed techniques, you’ll learn to connect with your body, calm your nervous system, and shift unhelpful thought patterns. I also weave in creative approaches including writing, art and cinema therapy, helping you explore your story through the power of self-expression and meaning-making. In a warm, supportive space, you’ll gain tools to navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, and life transitions—empowering you to build resilience, confidence, and a deeper sense of inner peace.
