Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Adults & Teens Navigating ADHD, Autism, Trauma, Binge Eating, and Life Transitions

I provide psychotherapy for adults and teens who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. My work is grounded in decades of experience across mental health, guidance, education, and autism services, and shaped by lived experience with neurodivergence, parenting, and living with chronic illness.
Heart Centre Psychotherapy is rooted in science and compassion. My integrative approach connects your mind, body, and nervous system to support meaningful, lasting change, working at a sustainable pace that suits you.
OUR SERVICES

My Approach

Karen McKenna-Quayle, MA, B.Ed. BA., DSW Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Certified Canadian Counsellor, ADHD-Clinical Services Provider

I work with people who may appear "fine", yet are tired of masking, struggling with burnout and isolation, trauma survivors, mothers, and adults managing ADHD.

You may reach out because of something from the past your mind and body are still holding onto. You might need help because old wounds and trauma you've tried to ignore are showing up more clearly in adulthood, putting up walls in relationships, impacting your mental health and daily life. My approach to psychotherapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. We move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you — with practical tools that actually work for your life.

Take the first step toward feeling heard, and healed. I offer virtual therapy across Ontario and Canada and in-person walk-and-talk therapy in beautiful lakeside Port Perry. I work with individuals and couples, providing a supportive, grounded space for real change.
